Annual leave entitlement for workers is based on a statutory minimum of 5.6 weeks per year (equivalent to 28 days for a full-time worker). In many cases holiday entitlement will be enhanced by the contract of employment or under a collective agreement but the statutory entitlement will underlie any such enhancement.
