GUIDANCE FOR DBS CUSTOMERS USING THE STRICTLY EDUCATION DBS PORTAL:
As you may recall from our latest news update published on 24th June DBS ID checking guidelines were updated on 1 July 2021 with a 6 month transitional period which ended on 1st October 2021.As you may be aware we are in the process of transferring existing SE DBS customers over to our new DBS Portal, unfortunately during this process we are unable to make any amendments to our existing DBS Portal to accommodate the new ID checking guidelines.
When you are verifying an individual’s ID when using the SE DBS system please ensure you are using the most up to date ID checking guidelines from the Disclosure and Barring Service – you can find links to this and a helpful checklist on the DBS pages of our website
